opener opens with a weak two-bid or a preemptive 3-bid.
Responder’s 4C
(or 4D)
is a keycard asking bid. Responder has slam interest in opener’s suit. Purpose
is to inquire about opener’s key cards without the risk of passing the
five-level with only 11 tricks.
