Fourth Suit Forcing

Used in an auction when the opponents are not bidding. The bid of the fourth suit is artificial and forcing.
If the fourth suit is bid at the one-level ...... [ 1C Pass 1D Pass ] : [ 1H Pass 1S ]

It is not necessarily game forcing. |

It is forcing at least to the three-level of a minor suit or to 2NT. |
If the fourth suit is bid at the two-level ..... [ 1D Pass 1H Pass ] : [ 1S Pass 2C ]

It is forcing to game, although the bidding might rarely stop at a four-level minor suit contract. |
