Used when strong 1NT is opened
or 1NT is overcalled by a non-passed hand (but not in the balancing seat).
Can be used at the 1NT level in
conjunction with Puppet Stayman. If both Stayman and Puppet Stayman are
used:
Use Stayman for invitational
hands - bid 2C over 1NT
Use Puppet Stayman for
game-going hands - bid 3C over 1NT
Opener bids 2C then rebids 2NT.
Used in conjunction with Smolen
Used in conjunction with Jacoby
and Texas Transfers.
System on over opponent’s
takeout double.
System off over opponent’s
overcall (use Lebensohl here).
